About Nutritional Therapy

As a Registered Nutritional Therapist I work with my clients to identify potential nutritional and lifestyle imbalances and understand how they could be affecting my clients’ health concerns. I have access to a wide range of tools to do this, including non-invasive testing where appropriate.

I then help clients find practical, individualised solutions to help improve their health and well-being. This is where Health Coaching and “Tapping” or EFT can be very useful- to help you translate knowing what to do into actually doing it, and overcoming negative, unhelpful behaviour patterns that keep you stuck in unhealthy lifestyle patterns.

Nutritional Therapy is an evidence-based science. It considers each of us to be unique, and influenced by our own distinctive combination of biochemistry, genetic influences, environmental factors, and lifestyle choices. That’s why it’s grounded in Functional Medicine, which addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Functional Medicine  looks at the root cause of health issues and how our physical, mental and emotional systems are intricately interconnected.

My clients tell me that for them, one of the most important aspects of Nutritional Therapy is that it empowers them  to help take ownership of their own healing. They really value being able to participate actively in the management of their well-being.
